IGET Not Working: Every Fix That Actually Works, Model by Model
A brand new IGET that will not draw is almost always still sealed: remove the silicone plug from the mouthpiece and the sticker from the airflow hole and it will fire. A device that stops mid-life is usually a flat battery on a rechargeable model or a spent battery on a disposable. Everything else, from blinking lights to gurgling, has a specific fix below.

New IGET Not Working Out of the Box
Work through the seals first, because a new device that will not draw is nearly always still wearing one. Pull the silicone plug out of the mouthpiece, peel the sticker off the airflow hole at the base, and unwrap any film across the body. Then let the device stand upright for a few minutes before the first puff so the wick saturates, which also heads off the burnt first hit people report on brand new units. If it still will not fire after that, and it came from us, contact us with your order number rather than forcing hard draws.
It Worked Yesterday: Battery or Liquid?
When a device dies mid-life, identify which ran out. If it still fires but tastes burnt or empty, the liquid is done and the device is finished. If it produces nothing at all, the battery quit first, which on a sealed disposable like the Bar 3500 is the most common ending and cannot be fixed: never open, modify or improvise charging for a sealed disposable. On a rechargeable model a dead battery is just a flat battery, so charge it before assuming the worst.
Rechargeable Models: Charge Properly First
The Bar Pro, One, Moon and Bar Plus S3 all charge over USB-C. If one stops responding, give it 20 to 30 minutes on a known-good phone cable and wall charger before judging it, check the port for pocket lint, and try a second cable before blaming the device. Blinking Lights and What They Mean
A light that flashes when you draw and then stops firing is almost always a flat battery on rechargeable models, so charging is the first response, not the last. A flash at the end of a very long draw is the automatic cut-off protecting the coil, and the device will fire normally on the next puff. On the Bar Plus S3, a blink can also mean the pod is not seated: pop the pod out, check for liquid or lint on the contacts, and click it firmly back in.
Gurgling, Leaking and Flooded Coils
A gurgling draw means the coil is flooded, usually after the device has been in a hot car or lying flat in a bag. Hold the device mouthpiece-down and flick it gently a couple of times to clear the excess, wipe the mouthpiece, and take a few short puffs. Prevent the repeat by storing the device upright and out of the heat, because warm liquid thins and finds its way into the airflow. A device that leaks constantly at room temperature is faulty or fake rather than mistreated.
When It Is a Fake, Not a Fault
A device that dies at a fraction of its rated puffs with liquid clearly remaining, draws unevenly from day one, or feels noticeably light in the hand was probably never genuine. Counterfeits routinely fail under 1000 puffs. Run the scratch code on the box through the verification check described in the fake-spotting guide. If the code reports as already used, or the box has no code, no amount of troubleshooting will help, and the fix is buying from somewhere with live stock and consistent pricing.

Why is my brand new IGET not hitting?
